Sandeep Mathrani, CEO of retail REIT GGP, said during an earnings call that Brookfield Property Partners’ offer to buy the shares of GGP “is in the hands of the special committee and Brookfield.”
In November 2017, it was reported the GGP special committee rejected a $14.8 billion buyout offer from its biggest shareholder, Brookfield Property Partners.
