Oliver Murray, managing director of portfolio management and client services, will become CEO of Brandes Investment Partners on May 1.
Murray will succeed Brent Woods, the firm’s CEO since 2013.
Murray joined the firm in 2002 and is responsible for the firm’s client service and business development efforts globally.
Woods, who joined Brandes in 1995, is being appointed president of the firm’s general partner and will play a broad oversight and support role for the firm. He will continue to serve on the firm’s international large-cap investment committee and investment oversight committee. Prior to becoming CEO, Woods served as managing director of the investments division.
