BMO Real Estate Partners expands industrial & logistics team

by Released

BMO Real Estate Partners (BMO REP), part of Canada’s BMO Financial Group’s £196 billion ($247 billion) global asset management business, has expanded its U.K. industrial and logistics team with the appointment of Jack Woollard as an asset manager, based in London.

“Jack is a timely addition to our industrial and logistics team, as we look to add resource to meet the growing demand for the sector from both an investment and occupational perspective,” said Chris Nicoll, head of industrial & logistics at BMO Real Estate Partners.

At BMO REP, Woollard will be responsible for the asset management of the existing 5 million-square-foot industrial and logistic portfolio, focused on maintaining and growing tenant relationships while constantly analyzing opportunities to promote lease regearing, tenant rotations and identifying space requirements in view of upgrading or adapting properties. In addition, Woollard also will be responsible for the sourcing of both on- and off-market investment opportunities across the sector that meet the individual requirements of each of the company’s funds.

Woollard joins BMO REP following seven years at Gerald Eve, where in his most recent role he was an associate within the property consultancy’s industrial department.
