Blackstone sells Brisbane center for $192m

YFG Shopping Centers has sold Brisbane’s Strathpine Centre for A$267 million ($192 million) in an off-market deal from Blackstone.

Strathpine Center is a major convenience-based subregional shopping center sitting on a 17-hectare (42-acre) site, approximately 20 kilometers (tk miles) north of Brisbane. With a gross leasable area of 45,304 square meters (487,648 square feet), the Strathpine Centre is anchored by Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Big W, Target, Birch Carroll & Coyle cinemas, along with 114 specialties, 21 kiosks and two external tenancies. The retailers generate approximately A$190 million ($137 million) in annual sales. The center is 95 percent occupied.
