Black Creek considers selling $3.5b warehouse REIT

Real estate investment firm Black Creek Group is considering selling its $3.5 billion industrial property REIT, Industrial Property Trust, according to Bloomberg.

Industrial Property Trust has a portfolio of 240 properties, with a total of around 37.6 million square feet. It is a mix of bulk warehouse use and “last mile” storage.

Black Creek is looking to either sell or recapitalize the REIT, an unnamed source told Bloomberg.
