Bascom Value Added Apartment Investors VI, a new fund managed by The Bascom Group, has raised $12.3 million against its target of $150 million, according to an SEC filing.
Fund VI will acquire value-add, distressed and opportunistic multifamily properties between $10 million and $90 million. The properties will range from older workforce housing to newer, higher-quality multifamily communities.
The fund’s predecessor, Bascom Value Added Apartment Investors V, completed its final close in February with $150 million of equity commitments.
The fund’s investor base was composed of high-net-worth individuals, family offices and institutions.
