AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets has launched a new pan-European residential fund.
The open-end investment vehicle will follow a core strategy and target multifamily, senior housing and student housing in Europe.
A fundraising target was not disclosed.
In September, AXA paid €77 million ($85 million) for a residential development in Barcelona, Spain. The seller was Stoneweg, a real estate services and management company active across Europe and the United States.
The firm is active in traditional real estate sectors, including offices, retail and residential, as well as alternatives, such as hotels, healthcare and data centers.
