AviaRent invests in 12 assisted living properties with launch of €500m fund

by Kali Persall

Germany-based AviaRent Invest AG is continuing its series of social infrastructure CareVision funds with the launch of €500 million ($560 million) CareVision IV.

The new fund will invest primarily in the assisted living plus segment, along with other care properties, according to AviaRent.

AviaRent revealed they have already secured a pipeline of 12 properties for the fund, called Convivo Parks through a partnership with the Convivo Group.

The properties, valued at €500 million ($560 million), are currently under development. Once completed, they will consist of 55 barrier-free and supervised apartment properties, a daycare facility, and two properties of shared flats for senior citizens. The properties offer a housing guarantee and a cost cap for residents.

Additional Convivo Parks are in the planning stages, with a total volume of approximately €1.5 billion ($1.7 billion). More than 80 properties are slated to be constructed by 2025.
