The Arizona State University (ASU) Foundation endowment, valued at $1.47 billion, reported a return of 4.3 percent for the fiscal year that ended on June 30.
Over the past three, five and 10 years the endowment has generated annualized returns of 10.1 percent, 9.0 percent and 7.6 percent, respectively.
Over the past 15 years the endowment has yielded annualized returns of 6.2 percent, which the ASU Foundation says is “in line with its objective of preservation and growth of intergenerational equity.”
In 2017, the ASU Foundation for a New American University appointed BlackRock as its outsourced chief investment officer.
