Ares Management, a global alternative asset manager, is fundraising for its newest real estate fund, Ares Real Estate Enhanced Income Fund, according to a filing with the SEC. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.
The open-end fund will invest in U.S. properties. The filing did not disclose the fundraising target, but stated the fund has raised $150 million, as of Dec. 21, 2018.
Ares Management has approximately $125 billion in assets under management, while its real estate group has approximately $10.6 billion of assets under management.
