ANREV appoints Charles Haase as new chief executive

The Asian Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles (ANREV) has appointed Charles Haase as the new chief executive.

Based at ANREV's offices in Hong Kong, Haase will spend time at the Association's new branch office in Singapore.

Haase has had a wide-ranging career in the real estate investment industry. After a number of years as assistant professor of economics at San Francisco State University, he joined CalSTRS, the U.S. LP, and was closely involved in its real estate investments in Asia Pacific. Approximately 10 years ago, he moved to Tokyo and joined the Tokyu Fudosan group. There he fulfilled a number of roles involving international investment in direct and indirect vehicles before moving to American fund manager Aetos Capital Real Estate LP at its Tokyo Affiliate Aetos Japan LLC office, where he was responsible for with client relationship management and raising capital for funds.
