Ânima Educação signed an exclusive agreement with VBI, an investment fund manager focused on the Brazilian real estate market, to develop a portfolio of student housing that will initially reach 5,000 beds, with an estimated investment of up to R$800 million ($155 million) over the next seven years by VBI.
The agreement includes the participation of Uliving, a company associated with VBI, which operates student housing in Brazil.
The strategic alliance plans to facilitate housing for more than 330,000 students.
