Alternative asset managers are actively seeking talent within private banks and traditional fund groups, Citywire research reported.
Since 2021, 15 of the biggest players in private markets have poached at least 68 people from private banks and traditional asset managers in various roles.
Half of recent hires are members of wealth solutions teams, with 34 of them having the word “wealth” in their job titles and two focused on family offices.
