AEW signs forward-funding agreement for prime urban logistics park in Germany

AEW has entered into a forward-funding agreement on behalf of LOGISTIS, its specialist pan-European logistics strategy, for the development of Hanover Urban Park, a prime urban logistics and business park scheme on the outskirts of Hanover, Germany.

Hanover Urban Park will consist of 101,664 square meters (1.1 million square feet) of class A logistics space across nine big box units and 18 light industrial units. A 9,200-square-meter (99,027-square-foot) logistics unit has been pre-leased on a 10-year lease to a French cable and optical fiber producer. The project will be delivered in two phases, with the first phase due to reach completion in early 2024.

Located in Hanover’s city limits, in the industrial zone of Brink-Hafen, Hanover Urban Park is ideally located between the city center and the airport and benefits from access to the local motorway network.
