KPERS makes follow-on commitment to Prime Property Fund

The Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS) has approved a follow-on commitment of up to $125 million to Prime Property Fund, an open-end commingled fund managed by Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

Prime Property Fund focuses on high-quality office buildings and class A apartment communities concentrated within nine targeted markets, warehouses in major distribution markets, and top-tier super-regional malls.

As of May 24, Prime Property Fund had a net asset value of $60.6 billion, according to a fund overview from the investment manager.
