De La Vega Development and StreetLights Residential have broken ground on Phase I of The Central, a 27-acre mixed-use project located at the corner of North Haskell Avenue and the Dallas North Tollway.
This is the first phase of the $2.5 billion development. The project will total 5 million square feet, consisting of 2.5 million square feet of potential office space, 110,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and as many as 2,000 residential units.
The Central, which includes plans for a 20-story residential tower, would be considered of the tallest developments in the area.
