Loretta Clodfelter is senior editor of Institutional Real Estate Americas, the award-winning flagship publication of San Ramon, Calif.–based Institutional Real Estate, Inc. She has edited the publication since 2015. She has more than 15 years of experience covering the commercial and institutional real estate industry, first with REITStreet and Institutional Real Estate Newsline (IREN), and then as production editor of Institutional Real Estate Europe and copyeditor for all of IREI’s products. Loretta has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Mills College.
Philip J. Carmody

Philip Carmody is responsible for GID’s ESG platform. He originally joined GID in 2001, working in both operations and acquisitions, and left in 2004 to return to the United Kingdom. After working in corporate real estate for the Royal Bank of Scotland and Citizens Bank, he came back to GID in 2013 to work in portfolio and asset management. Carmody received an M.B.A. from UMass Boston and a B.Sc. in real estate from the University of Reading. Additionally, he has received a Master of Corporate Real Estate designation from CoreNet Global and is qualified as a Chartered Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Kaylee McCall Correa

Kaylee McCall Correa is managing director of capital markets at Elion and is a member of its Senior Management Committee, Asset Management Committee, Investment Committee and ESG/DEI Steering Committee. She leads the firm’s investor relations and communications programs, assists with the firm’s strategic growth initiatives and drives its commitment to ESG and DEI through her appointment to the firm’s ESG/DEI Steering Committee. She also serves as a representative member of the U.N. PRI and the PREA Research Affinity Group. Correa earned an M.B.A. and a B.S. in public relations from the University of Florida.

In his 19+-year career, he has executed and managed more than $1.5 billion of structured investments. He is an IREI Springboard Leader alumnus and a current member of the iREOC Board of Governors, the UC Berkeley Fisher Center for Urban Economics Policy Advisory Board, and the Board of Advisors for SEO Scholars. Farris holds a B.S. in economics from Santa Clara University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University and UC Berkeley.
Dr. Suzet McKinney

Dr. Suzet McKinney, a nationally recognized public health expert, serves as principal and director of life sciences, leading the strategy to expand Sterling Bay’s footprint in life sciences nationwide, pursue grant programs for laboratory incubation and graduation space, and advance the work of various life sciences initiatives including Prysm Institute. Prior to joining Sterling Bay, McKinney was CEO and executive director of the Illinois Medical District (IMD), where she managed medical research facilities, labs, a biotech business incubator, universities, four hospitals and more than 40 healthcare-related facilities. Before IMD, McKinney was Deputy Commissioner for the Bureau of Public Health Preparedness and Emergency Response at Chicago Department of Health.
Adam Slakman

Adam Slakman is Hines’ vice president for global ESG, responsible for implementing ESG across the global portfolio of investment and client accounts. This includes green and healthy building certifications and ratings, environmental data management, renewable energy projects, and investor RFPs and reporting. He also co-led the firm’s ESG Working Group and has been a critical part of the global sustainability leadership for his entire tenure. Previously, his career included roles in sustainability, financial analysis, operations and client relations. Most recently, he served as vice president of ULI Greenprint, where he managed relationships across 34 companies representing $650 billion AUM. Slakman received his B.S. in economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
