Origin Investments, a multifamily investment sponsor, has launched Origin Exchange, reported theDIWire.
Origin Exchange will allow qualified 1031 exchange investors access to “institutional-quality” multifamily property investment opportunities, while obtaining the tax advantages and estate-planning aspects of a 1031 exchange.
Origin Exchange charges an acquisition fee of 1 percent to 1.5 percent and doesn’t pay brokerage sales commissions, all of which mean that more of the investors’ money is going toward the purchase of real estate.
Origin Investments has completed more than $3.5 billion of real estate transactions since it was founded in 2007.
