Blackstone has promoted Sheila Rapple, who currently serves as senior managing director and global head of investor services in the firm’s Private Wealth Solutions Group, to chief operating officer for EMEA wealth, according to Reuters.
This is part of the firm’s private wealth push into two new markets in Europe.
Rapple relocated from New York to London in October.
In her current role as COO for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) wealth, Rapple oversees investor services and devotes many of her efforts toward helping to build out the processes needed to support new products and channels, according to Blackstone. Before leading investor services, Rapple was head of the internal sales and service desk for the Private Wealth Management Group.
