Boston private equity firm ArcLight Capital Partners has raised approximately $2.2 billion for its seventh flagship fund, ArcLight Energy Partners Fund VII, launched in June 2018.
The capital comes from 60 backers of the fund, in addition to funds sold by ArcLight’s related feeder investment vehicle, AEP Feeder Fund II, according to an SEC Form D. The feeder fund filed a Form D with the SEC on Aug. 12, reporting a $1.3 billion fundraise from 22 investors.
ArcLight Energy Partners Fund VII will invest across the energy industry, with a focus on energy and infrastructure assets across North America. It will target midstream, power and production opportunities. These include pipelines, storage, terminals, conventional and renewable power sources, electric transmission, and natural gas and oil production.
ArcLight Capital Partners has invested approximately $21 billion in 108 transactions since its 2001 inception.
