Globally, in May 2019, total dollar volume of venture capital investments in real estate tech companies reached a reported $1.01 billion, across 30 deals, according to a report by CREtech Insights. And year-to-year, total dollar volume increased by 11 percent. Median funding amounts continue to climb, especially for companies in the Americas. Month-to-month, the median funding amount surged by 99 percent to $13 million.
