BlackRock is partnering with Chicago-based GeoWealth to offer private equity and debt funds for financial advisers across the United States, reported Silla Brush for Bloomberg.
GeoWealth currently oversees roughly $28 billion across 180,000 accounts.
Brush notes that BlackRock is aiming to offer more robust private markets capabilities to its clients. At the end of April, BlackRock’s retail private debt fund had approximately $498 million of assets.
