Each year, IREI holds its annual Institutional Investing in Infrastructure conference and Editorial Advisory Board meeting for the I3 publication, and this year the events were in Toronto for a second straight year. Even though most attendees say they would prefer Miami over Toronto — Lake Ontario is nice, but it is hard to compete with Miami beaches — Ontario’s capital city is a more practical choice (see page 24).
Toronto might not have the glitz of Miami, but it is home to many infrastructure investors, consultants and investment managers who have a wealth of knowledge to share, so it is a great location for anyone in the market to meet and hear from people who
know the ins and outs of global infrastructure investing.
