It feels like only yesterday we were in Boston for our 2016 Institutional Investing in Infrastructure (i3) editorial advisory board meeting. Now we are a few weeks away from the 2017 i3 editorial meeting in Toronto. For those who are new to i3, you might be wondering what the board meeting even is; it is an invitation-only event with managers, consultants and institutional investors engaging in roundtable discussions. The group is asked ahead of time for the topics they want discussed using “food for thought” prompts, and these discussions are the basis for the i3 editorial calendar in the year ahead. The topics reflect what is important to our readers, most importantly investors, such as pension plan sponsors, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds.

At last count, we will have 22 investors, 12 consultants and eight investment managers in attendance, and as you can see from the list below, it is a diverse group.
