Regular readers of Institutional Investing in Infrastructure (i3), or any other IREI publication, are likely aware our company is “investor-focused.” Those of you less familiar with our publications and events might just assume this is a tagline, but the reality is everything we do is back-dropped with the question: Are we doing our best to serve the investor community, and how can we improve upon that service?
In a desire to better serve the institutional investors in infrastructure, we wanted to dig deeper on a few recurring topics from our annual conference, VIP Infrastructure, by conducting a targeted anonymous investor survey. Our objectives were to 1) get more clarity from investors on their feelings on a few key topics and 2) provide insight to managers evaluating their product offerings. While #2 might seem counterintuitive to the “investor-focused” mission, we hope to do our small part in lowering the cost of doing business by helping managers unders
