A conversation with Reid Capalino: Investing in climate infrastructure

Reid Capalino is a principal with the Aligned Intermediary (AI), an investment advisory group created to help long-term investors channel institutional capital into clean energy, water infrastructure, and waste-to-value projects. Capalino began his career as an analyst at Deutsche Bank Climate Advisors (DBCCA). At DBCCA, Capalino assisted fund managers with $3 billion in assets under management to evaluate investments in renewable energy, energy efficiency and agriculture. In this role, Capalino also managed complex research engagements with external partners, such as the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the Rocky Mountain Institute, the Generation Foundation (part of Generation Investment Management), the U.S. Partnership for Renewable Energy Finance, and the Investor Network on Climate Risk.
