David Agnew is a managing director and head of government affairs, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) in the Americas. Agnew is MIRA’s liaison with federal, state and local governments, managing MIRA’s existing presence in the marketplace in the Americas as well as exploring new investment opportunities. Prior to joining Macquarie, Agnew served at the White House, where he was Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs. In this role, Agnew oversaw the Obama Administration’s relationship with state, city, county and tribal elected officials across the country. Agnew previously served as Deputy Director of the office and was the President’s liaison to America’s mayors and county officials.
