Work to begin next month on road project in Indonesia

by Kali Persall

Indonesia’s Toll Road Regulatory Agency has signed a 40-year contract with PT Jogjasolo Marga Makmur Consortium for a 91.93-kilometer (57-mile) toll road, according to InfraPPP.

The consortium consists of PT Daya Mulya Turangga-Gama Group, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, and PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk.

The Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Kulon Progo toll-road project aims to improve accessibility to and from the New Yogyakarta International Airport in Kulonprogo. Work on the toll road will be divided into three stages, with construction beginning in October. The road is expected to be operational in December 2024.
