PATRIZIA has closed the acquisition of independently owned international infrastructure manager Whitehelm Capital.
The transaction was previously announced on Sept. 13, 2021, and has now reached completion, following the approval from regulatory authorities.
PATRIZIA said the acquisition will broaden PATRIZIA’s portfolio of investment solutions, with a particular focus on smart cities and digital infrastructure, decarbonization and the energy transition, water and environmental services, and social infrastructure, across equity, debt and public listed infrastructure investments.
The transaction increases PATRIZIA’s total assets under management to more than €50 billion ($56 billion) and triples its infrastructure assets to €5 billion ($5.6 billion).
