The Educational Employees Retirement System of Fairfax County (ERFC) in Virginia has committed $3 million to ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III, IREI has learned.
ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III, managed by I Squared Capital Advisors, opened to investors in August 2020. The fund will invest in mid-market platforms and large opportunistic transactions in the target infrastructure sectors across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
As of September 2020, Fund III had raised $1.65 billion in commitments against a target of $12 billion and has held subsequent rolling closes, raking in some $4.3 billion to date, according to a document posted by another investor, the Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds, in November 2020.
