by Kali Persall

VICO Infrastructure Company has appointed Sam Kramer as vice president of infrastructure development.

Kramer previously served as director of water resources at PERC Water, a position he held for nearly three years. Prior to that, he held several engineering roles at IDE Technologies and WorleyParsons.

Kramer received his BS in civil engineering at San Francisco State University and a master’s at Northwestern University.

California-based VICO focuses on the early-stage development of infrastructure projects, managing operating assets leveraging technology, data, expertise and transparency for owners and investors, according to the company’s website.

VICO said it invests in technology because it believes the future of infrastructure asset management will be dependent on data analytics, predictive analysis and artificial intelligence.
