Verne begins construction of the first 70MW on its data center campus in Mäntsälä

Verne has marked the start of construction of the first 70 megawatt on its data center campus in Mäntsälä, Finland, with a foundation stone ceremony attended by local and national stakeholders.

The new campus will have an initial capacity of 70 megawatts and is being developed to support growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing, machine learning and other high-density workloads. Located in Mäntsälä’s Kapuli area, an established industrial and logistics area designed for business development, the approximately 10-hectare (24.7-acre) site will run on renewable energy and is planned to reuse waste heat in local community heating projects.
