Austrian hydropower utility Verbund has acquired a €1 billion ($1.1 billion) portfolio of renewable-energy assets in Spain from Q-Energy, Reuters reports.
The assets include operating photovoltaic power plants with a combined capacity of 82 megawatts and projects that will have a project capacity of up to 4,000 megawatts.
All of the assets are located in Castille La Mancha in central Spain and sunny Andalusia in the south.
