Vantage to deliver second facility in 55MW German data-center campus

Vantage Data Centers is planning to build the second of three facilities on its flagship 55-megawatt EU campus (FRA1) in Offenbach, Germany.

Located 1 kilometer (0.62 miles) from the main data centers and peering points in Frankfurt, the facility will include 16 megawatts of critical IT capacity and 13,000 square meters (140,000 square feet) once fully developed. It is expected to open to customers in the first half of 2024.

Vantage has acquired full ownership of the first data center on this campus, buying out its joint-venture partners Energieversorgung Offenbach (EVO) and DataCenter-Group (DCG). Vantage said it will continue in a new partnership with EVO as the energy provider and landowner of the campus.
