UBS Asset Management (UBS-AM) Infrastructure Debt Platform has financed CapMan Infra’s complete acquisition of Koiviston Auto, a Finnish transport operator with the largest bus fleet in the country, with €100 million ($110 million) in debt.
The transaction was the final investment made by IDPII, which has successfully financed 37 infrastructure projects in various sectors across 15 jurisdictions in Europe since its launch in 2015.
Koiviston Auto operates in the public and commercial bus transport sector in Finland, with a fleet of 1,080 buses. UBS-AM said the business’s large asset base, alongside long-term, capacity-based and inflation-protected contracts with public authorities, make it a reliable investment opportunity, which is further strengthened by ambitious expansion plans.
