UBS has appointed Laurent Bouvier as global head of its newly formed ESG advisory team, Bloomberg reports.
Bouvier has worked as a managing director at UBS Investment Bank for the past six years, also serving as co-head of the global industries group (industrials, energy, power and infrastructure) and as a member of the global Banking Management Committee.
Prior to that, Bouvier was a managing director at Credit Suisse Group, where he served as co-head of global diversified industrials/large caps and head of industrials EMEA.
Bouvier’s ESG group will handle deal pitching and execution and support clients’ sustainability strategies through acquisitions.
Bouvier will also become GIG chairman, Bloomberg reports.
