United Kingdom’s West Sussex County Council has launched tenders seeking a strategic property development partner, according to InfraPPP.
The partner will carry out the design, build, finance and other tasks on housing, retail, residential units, commercial units, public government buildings and other facilities. The partner will identify opportunities from its land holdings and potentially those of its partners, and also have the opportunity to purchase and develop property beyond the county boundary.
The new joint venture partnership is expected to be through a new or existing wholly owned subsidiary company.
The estimated investment value for the project is between £750 million ($924 million) and £1 billion ($1.24 billion).
The deadline to apply is July 24.
