U.K.’s Local Pensions Partnership makes three infrastructure appointments

The U.K.-based Local Pensions Partnership, which manages £17 billion ($22 billion) for the Lancashire, Berkshire and London City Hall pension funds, has recruited three new staff to oversee its investments in infrastructure.

Colin Simpson, a former investment director at specialist asset manager Amber Infrastructure, has been named head of the infrastructure team.

Local Pensions Partnership has also recruited Katya Romashkan from construction group Balfour Beatty as a portfolio manager, and Matthew Course, a former consultant at XPS Pensions, as a client portfolio manager.
