The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG), a U.K. investment fund managed by InfraRed Capital Partners, has acquired stakes in four French onshore wind farms for an undisclosed amount, according to Marine Link.
The acquisitions comprise the Rosières and Montigny wind farms located in Meuse and Aisne, the Energie Entre Tille et Venelle onshore wind project in the Burgundy region, and the “Epine Marie Madeleine” onshore wind farm, located in Hauts-de-France.
Together, the wind farms have a total capacity of 107.8 megawatts.
TRIG invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of renewable energy infrastructure assets in the United Kingdom and Northern Europe, with a focus on operating projects, according to the fund’s website.
As of June 30, the fund’s portfolio comprised 39 wind assets, 28 solar PV and one battery storage asset — for a total of 71 projects — spread throughout the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Sweden and Germany.
InfraRed has more than $12 billion in equity assets under management.
