TRIG agrees to buy out Scotland-based Blary Hill Energy

The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG), a London-listed renewable energy infrastructure investment company managed by InfraRed Capital Partners, has exchanged contracts to buy out Blary Hill Energy along with the rights to construct a 35-megawatt wind farm in West Scotland.

The investment is expected to close during first quarter 2020.

RES will develop and construct the project under a fixed price EPC Contract and supply asset management services for the project, according to TRIG. Construction is expected to start this quarter, and the project is expected to begin operations in first quarter 2022.

Upon completion, the project would represent 2.5 percent of TRIG's portfolio value on a committed investment basis and bring the percentage of TRIG's assets that are under construction to 8 percent.
