The Renewables Infrastructure Group (TRIG), the London-listed investment company advised by InfraRed Capital Partners and RES, has acquired a 50 percent stake in two onshore wind farms in Sweden.
The preconstruction wind farms, known as Ranasjö and Salsjö, are referred to as Twin Peaks and have a combined capacity of 242 megawatts. Both wind farms will be located in the SE2 Nord Pool price area and will provide enough clean energy to power more than 45,000 homes, upon completion.
TRIG said the InfraRed European Infrastructure Income Fund 4 will acquire a 50 percent interest in the project, alongside TRIG.
Construction is expected to commence in the third quarter of the year and is slated for completion in the first half of 2024.
