Thierry Cojan, an expert with a strong background in the aviation sector, has been promoted to senior principal at Australian investment manager and sovereign investor QIC. Cojan has been at the firm since 2021, when he started as a principal, according to his LinkedIn page.
His wealth of experience also includes stints at companies in the aviation space. For example, Cojan has been a board member at Brussels Airport Co. from 2023 to present.
Before that, he spent more than three years at Heathrow, Europe’s largest airport and the United Kingdom’s most valuable port by value, in several leadership roles in the finance space.
Cojan also has been an aviation consultant and a director at consultant and advisory companies in the aviation sector.
QIC invests in the transport sector as part of its infrastructure strategy. The firm owns stakes in Brussels Airport, Brisbane Airport and Hobart International Airport.
