Krupal Raval, the former executive vice president and chief strategy officer at CyrusOne, has stepped into the role of CEO at Theseus Infrastructure, a new company forged as a partnership between Anthropic, Macquarie Asset Management and GIC.
Theseus will build, run and lease the data centers Anthropic needs to keep up with demand for its large language model, Claude. Anthropic, Macquarie Asset Management and GIC will work together to identify and develop new sites, with an initial focus on the United States. Each facility will be purpose-built to support Anthropic’s growing capacity needs.
According to his LinkedIn page, Raval previously served as both vice president finance and managing director of xScale at Equinix, a specialized portfolio of hyperscale data centers designed for large cloud service providers and major AI companies.
