The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (Texas TRS) has committed $450 million to one new and one existing infrastructure manager, according to a recent investment report.
The pension fund earmarked $350 million for Brookfield Infrastructure Fund V-A, a value-add fund managed by Brookfield Asset Management Private Institutional Capital Adviser (Canada), and $100 million to ISQ Growth Markets Infrastructure Fund (UST), an opportunistic fund managed by I Squared Capital Advisors.
Brookfield is an existing manager for Texas TRS, and I Squared Capital Advisors is a new manager.
