Texas TRS commits $445m to infrastructure investments in May

The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) has committed $445 million to infrastructure funds and co-investment vehicles in May, according to investment correspondence.

Blackstone Energy Transition Partners, managed by Blackstone Energy Transition Management Associates V, received $200 million for its closed-end, opportunistic strategy that seeks to help energy companies build enterprises that deliver cleaner, reliable and affordable energy to meet global needs. A fundraising target has not been disclosed

Blackstone Management Partners’ Blackstone Supplemental Account – Bobcat received $200 million for its opportunistic strategy to invest in infrastructure assets in the United States.

Avant Infrastructure Co-Investment Fund, a vehicle of Avant Management, received $45 million for its opportunistic fund targeting infrastructure assets in the United States.
