Texas TRS commits $100m to Nova Infrastructure Co-Investment Partners III

The Teacher Retirement System (TRS) of Texas approved a $100 million commitment to Nova Infrastructure Co-Investment Partners III, managed by Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Inc. during the month of March.

Rob Maxwell, investments communications specialist at TRS, disclosed the infrastructure commitment in a recent email.

Nova Infrastructure is an infrastructure investment firm that invests in transportation, environmental services, energy and other sectors in North America. The firm focuses on differentiated, value-added strategies in the middle-market infrastructure segment.

A specific fund strategy for Nova Infrastructure Co-Investment Partners III could not be confirmed at the time of publication.

The $157 billion TRS Texas had a 5.7 percent allocation to energy, natural resources and infrastructure as of Aug. 31, 2019.
