The Teacher Retirement System of Texas has committed $30 million to GIP Pegasus Fund.
GIP Pegasus Fund is managed by Global Infrastructure Management, a leading infrastructure investor that seeks to deliver returns by investing in infrastructure assets that empower economies and societies across the globe, in sectors including energy, digital, transportation, and water and waste.
As of Aug. 31, 2023, TRS of Texas had 6.84 percent ($12.8 billion) of its $186.6 billion portfolio allocated toward energy, natural resources and infrastructure.
