Texas ERS pours $100m into Igneo, Chambers Energy funds

The Employees Retirement System of Texas has backed funds managed by Igneo Infrastructure Partners and Chambers Energy Capital, according to a recent commitment report.

Texas ERS committed $50 million each to the Igneo North American Diversified Infrastructure Fund and Chambers Energy Capital Fund V.

The Igneo North American Diversified Infrastructure Fund (NADIF) is a core-plus fund that invests in the United States and Canada, according to PitchBook. An SEC filing shows it launched in September. NADIF targets the commercial transportation, energy and communications, and networking sectors. It has a fund size of $1 billion, according to PitchBook.

Chambers Energy Capital Fund V is a private credit fund investing in energy equipment, exploration, production, refining, energy service and other energy sectors in the United States and Canada. An
