The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) committed $600 million to two infrastructure funds and one energy diversified fund during October, according to a new commitment report.
TRS committed $300 million to the Brookfield Infrastructure Fund IV Co-Investment program, a diversified infrastructure fund managed by Brookfield Asset Management Private Institutional Capital Adviser (Canada), and $100 million to Infra Investors II, managed by Global Infrastructure Management, which launched in September.
The pension fund also invested $200 million in the FR Finalizer fund, a U.S.-based diversified energy fund managed by First Reserve XIV Advisors.
