Texas ERS commits $150m to ISQ Growth Markets Infrastructure Fund II

The Employees Retirement System (ERS) of Texas has committed $150 million to private infrastructure, according to investment correspondence.

ISQ Growth Markets Infrastructure Fund II, a vehicle of I Squared Capital, received $75 million. This is a closed-end fund that will target energy, utilities, telecommunications, social infrastructure and transportation assets in Asia Pacific and Latin America. The fund aims to raise $3 billion. The inaugural ISQ Growth Markets Infrastructure Fund, its predecessor, closed with more than $2.6 billion in total capital raised, well over its initial target of $2 billion. The State Board of Administration of Florida (SBA) committed $150 million to this fund in second quarter 2025.
